ACTICIDE 14 is a VOC-free concentrated formulation of CIT/MIT used for water based metalworking fluid treatment.


It can be used as a tankside bactericide and fungicide additive in 2 different ways:

• as preventive to reduce the risk of pollution in a hazardous environment
• in shock treatment, in case of heavy pollution in bacteria or fungi It is recommended to make the addition of the product at several places in the system.

Do not exceed the maximum treatment concentration of 0.025%.

Introduce ACTICIDE 14 into the tank where the circulation of the metalworking fluid is maximum to mix it properly (lift pump, at the return of the fluid in the tank…).

In case of heavy contamination by bacteria (usually identified by the presence of odours), add ACTICIDE 14 to kill the pollution, increase pH with a pH-booster such as BECROSAN CP 2125 and adjust the fluid concentration if necessary. In case of fungi pollution, chemical treatment needs to be completed with a mechanical removal of the visible deposits and fungi in the tank and in the fluid.

Dilution of use: 0.025%, i.e. ¼ litre of ACTICIDE 14 per 1000 litres of metalworking fluid
