GOODWOOD REVIVAL IS ROARING BACK INTO ACTION WITH MOTUL!

It’s time to dust off the vintage clothing, rev up some of the most beautiful classic racing and road cars of the past, and get ready to top up them up with lubricant from the Special Edition Motul oil can: The Goodwood Revival is back and ready to roar into action!  The hugely popular historic sporting event, with which Motul is Official Lubricant Partner, takes place between 13-15th September at Goodwood, near Chichester on the south coast of England.

Recreating the golden era of Goodwood Motor Circuit between 1948 and 1966, the Revival is a magical step back in time where no modern-day cars are allowed into the circuit, guests and participants all wear period clothes, and memories are recreated through many and varied displays of entertaining, nose-to-tail racing on track and much, much more off track.

 Vintage…Vagabond…victory and value

With 15 exciting races to watch, featuring stunning classics in the hands of legendary drivers from past and present day, one of the highlights of the weekend will be the St Mary’s Trophy Presented by Motul for saloon cars.  Split into two parts, the first on Saturday, second on Sunday, this is the one that every driver wants to win!  It will be live-streamed on Motul social media channels from inside one of the cars, plus the Motul-branded winners’ trophy will be presented for the first time ever by not just a fan, but a Motul Super Fan. Watching all the weekend action closely will be Motul ambassadors Henri Pescarolo and Nicolas Minassian.

Motul’s Vintage garage on Revival High Street – a vendor row which is 100% presented according to the historic period – will feature a Norton bike (it’s not just 4-wheeled vehicles at Goodwood) and a 300SL Brabus-restored Mercedes Roadster, a car synonymous with global glamour and style from Hollywood to the French Riviera. In the adjacent Corner Boutique, visitors can purchase Motul memorabilia or the highly collectable, Limited Edition Goodwood oil can.

The Motul racing lab will be onsite, offering free oil analysis for all competitors, plus there will be a special Motul area near the bike paddock with the newly restored Vagabond delivery truck and vintage Motul oil pumps. Visitors may even see Motul-branded ‘mechanics’ roaming around the site on old bikes, all ready to point them in the right direction of the Boutique!

Motul’s experts will be on hand at Goodwood to share this expertise with competitors or classic car owners, who will also be able to consult www.motulclassic.co.uk,  the new e-shop dedicated to  all classic product purchases they might need.
