Motul sponsors the fourth edition of the Nissan Time Attack Meeting
In partnership with Motul representative in Australia “Link International”, Motul sponsored the fourth edition of the Nissan Time Attack Meeting. The event took place on July 26 at the Queensland Raceway circuit in Australia.
The meeting was well attended with no fewer than 55 entrants on the start line all either driving their favourite make of Japanese car. As the name of the meeting suggests, the principle of the Time Attack Event is a race against the clock with each driver making a lap of the circuit in the quickest time possible.
While a race against the clock might not make for an adrenaline-pumped day there was some impressive driving nonetheless and it was Mercury Motorsport team that took the honours in a Nissan GT-R R35 Carbone. Their winning lap team of 53 second was too good for the rest of the field
In the Skyline GTS Performance class the garlands went to Hiro Sakane of Link International. In a flawless drive in his Skyline R34 GT-T, the driver deservedly finished on top of the podium
