Unlike conventional systems based on chemical solvents, MOTUL BioClean offers an employee- and environmentally friendly alternative that also reduces disposal costs. The extensive range of applications for Motul BioClean allows for versatile use in automotive workshops, motorcycle shops, manufacturing industries, truck and agricultural machinery workshops, as well as among engine builders and transmission repair services. As part of the Motul BioClean overall system, the provider offers not only the wash basin and cleaning fluid but also spare parts such as cotton filters and accessories like cleaning brushes. Additionally, there are application videos for employees in businesses and workshops, and communication materials to help user companies demonstrate their active contribution to environmental protection.

Cleaning dirty components and parts from oils, fats, and other contaminants typically involves chemical solvent-based cold cleaners that are harmful to health. These solvents can not only have negative and sometimes health-threatening effects, such as solvent allergies for workers, but they also damage the environment and incur high disposal costs. Other drawbacks include increased fire hazards due to volatile liquids, persistent solvent odors in the workplace, and the risk of damaging plastic or painted surfaces. Motul BioClean addresses these challenges by offering an environmentally friendly and efficient total cleaning system with highly effective cleaning performance. After washing with a cleaning fluid that is heated to 41°C and oxygen-enriched, the dissolved dirt particles are separated from the liquid through various methods, such as sieves, magnets, or cotton filters. In the wash basin's reservoir, microorganisms in the cleaning fluid further break down the grease, oil particles, and many other substances washed off the components.
