Bill Dixon secures a three-peat !

The American stunt championship, (motorbike freestyle), dubbed XDL Series, experienced its epilogue on 27 and 28 August during the MotoGP race in Indianapolis.

Motul, apart from being a sponsor of the series for the past two years, also supports technically ten or so stunters. And with 4 wins in the 6 competitions proposed during the last round of the year, the end of season was exemplary for Motul!

Brian Bubash took for instance a double win with the K&N Circle Challenge (speed competition to make 10 rotations without putting foot to ground) and the Stuntride.com Sickest Trick (free figures…judged by his competitors! ).

Dan Jackson won the Wheelie Teach Wheelie Race, which consists in riding back and forth as fast as possible without bringing the front wheel down. Last, Jesse Toler won for his part the Racing 905 Speed & Style Showdown, an acrobatics extravaganza
tournament!

Last, cherry on the cake, Bill Dixon, the driver supported officially by Yamaha, secured his third consecutive title in the major XDL competition, the FMF Cup. Although he did not manage to win this last event, it is his brilliant season as a whole which is rewarded.

Motorbike freestyle is definitely a trendy sport, as seen by the creation of a TV series, Inside XDL, on the competition season.
